I am not the comic book geek that I once was. Today is the start of Wizard World: Philadelphia, a big, big comic book show. I wasn't even aware of it until a few days ago, and I'm sure I won't be going. It's too bad, really. I used to live for stuff like this, but it's no fun if you don't have cash for it anyway, and I didn't plan around it. Once upon a time, there's no way this would have slipped under the radar for me.
It was funny this morning, though. I walked in by the Convention Center where it's happening and saw this long line of pathetic looking men. I thought, "is it some kind of jobs fair?"
No. Comic book fans.
