Here's a sure sign that I am getting old: whenever I have a really good, really fun weekend (this weekend wasn't *crazy* or anything, but it was definitely fun and good), I come out of it on Monday feeling spent.
In other words, I've come to think of fun, active weekends as exhausting or even trying. You can feel the onset of a larger lethargy that leads you as you age to take on a little less excitement so you can work a little more idle time in.
