Astrology may be horseshit,
but I keep finding this website loaded with good reminders about behavior.
Astro.com
I think part of its charm stems from the fact that it never purports to predict anything more than where your mood and emotions are heading. It never says: "love will find you." It says: "Were love to find you right now, you'd react to it in this way."
It said that tomorrow I was likely to be irritable. In fact, it said that I would find challenges in the smallest interactions with people, and that the worst thing I could do would be to give in to the tempting belief that every challenge was an outright threat. It said I could lash out protectively in excess.
Who knows if I actually am set up to be irritable tomorrow, but it never hurts for me to remind myself that my temper can get a little pesky if I'm not mindful of it.
So I guess what I'm saying is that the people who write these things are very practical folks and I can't help but feel like most of the horoscopes I read on there are excellent food for introspective thought, whether or not they do actually manage to predict where my headtrip is headed.
