If I save $90 per paycheck for 3 years, I think I could afford to take three months off and go to Guatemala and study Spanish. In fact, unless prices change a lot, I'm pretty sure I could.
I think I will start saving for it next April, when my pay goes up a little and I've paid off my washing machine!
I may even try to make it 4 months. That would only increase my costs another thousand. That would just be my 2010 tax return.
