2005-11-28 - 11:07 p.m. While I discovered to my mild horror that the last two chapters (albeit one very long one) were written over the span of the last month... that's not a bad month compared to some I've had. If you consider that I started the actual novel itself at the end of May, 2003, then I haven't quite averaged a chapter a month since I started. That said, tonight: tonight I did well. I realized I was at a crux in the story, so I kicked back and did some big picture work before starting the next chapter. I ended up writing what may just end up being the Epilogue of the whole shebang. Still have a lot of things to figure out between here and there... the ending might just be realized (or the post-ending, ending, anyway). The key, here, though, is I don't think I spent more than a half hour on-line after coming home. This was good. I managed to not even turn my computer on for almost an hour. This is heap big progress for me. In the end, I think I did almost two hours of writing tonight. This has always been the goal, but lately it's been more of an ideal than a reality - especially on weekdays. Go, team!
