You know, I saw Cake live before leaving Madison, and somehow it sort of wrecked them for me. I mean, I still really love their music but I just don't love them as much as I did. I never want to see them again.
It's so strange. I had heard that they really don't like touring. I think knowing that sort of hurt it, and I could see it on stage. Though they were working up there.
While I was home, my parents and I watched several movies and it seemed like Cake songs were playing in all the previews, oddly.
I was thinking about that today and remembering about how seeing them live had taken a lot of the oomph out of my interest in them.
