Yesterday I went on a little day outing with some friends. Nice day on the Elk River. I really need to get a cottage like that.
Anyway, that's not the point. The point is that when I came home my cats were on the back roof of the addition of my house and completely freaking out.
I have no idea how they got out there or when. It definitely was not when I left in the morning, though. I've ruled that out. In other words, they got out of a house that I believed to be totally sealed up. The only other person in the city who has keys to my place was with me, too.
It is utterly bizarre. It's awful. I can't figure it out on any level and I don't like that at all.
They are fine, this time, but they might be out there again right now for all I know.
