I know the Casey v. Santorum Senate race is one folks are watching nationally, but I don't know if you all out there are getting the play-by-play campaign wise. Republicans are going after the State Treasurer for his work hours. That is, evidence that he isn't in his office every day.
His office "claims" that he's out around the state at business meetings. Republicans call it hocus pocus.
I'm sorry... I believe it. Look, I am one low S.O.B. on the political totem pole here in the state of Pennsylvania, but I spend a lot of time out and about around the state. I shoud probably spend more time. Do I believe that there is cause for the State Treasurer to make his way around the state? Yes, yes I do.
I hope everyone else sees what obvious, desperate nonsense this is.
I have no special love for Casey, though I expect I'll vote for him. I'm definitely not emotionally invested in the Santorum attack, but I hate it when politicos are so obviously willing to warp reality or take advantage of voters who aren't sophisticated.
MEMO TO THE PA REPUBLICANS: He's an American political figure. You've got to be able to find something better to harp on than business trips!
